Connect to Your "Why"

“Why?” is the most powerful & introspective question you can ever ask yourself. If you do not know WHY you are doing something, you may become a mindless meat sack roaming the Earth like your Roomba. I know that sounds harsh, but it’s the truth.

Connecting to your own personal “why” is the first step in self-empowerment and sustainable change.

When you’ve identified your goal, ask yourself why is this goal/habit/lifestyle important to you?
Who will you become when you’ve accomplished this goal?
How will accomplishing this goal make you feel?

Your why will become your home base, your compass to keep you on track. Keep returning back to your “why” to refuel your discipline & daily habits necessary for achieving your goals!

New Year, New YOU!

New year, new YOU. It’s time to start the year with a fresh perspective & new goals after our 2023 reflection. We all know it's not easy to stick to new years resolutions... but PPR ELITE has your back! In this blog, you’ll learn crucial tips on how to achieve your goals for 2024 (& beyond). We’re in this together. Let's make 2024 the year we crush our goals & live our best lives yet!

Break it Down

Have you ever eaten a meal in one bite? Unless it was a cupcake, I’m guessing you haven't. And for good reason- You’d choke!

It might sound silly, but this same analogy applies to goal-setting, tasks, & achievement. Choose your meal, then eat it one bite at a time. Set a goal & break it down into tasks (daily, monthly, &/or quarterly). Complete all tasks necessary & BOOM you’ve achieved your goal!

Bonus tip: Celebrate your small victories, they are just as important!!!

Breaking down a goal into smaller tasks not only makes it more manageable, but it also helps you complete your daily routines. When you see progress, no matter how small, it gives you a sense of accomplishment and encourages you to keep going.

Celebrating small victories also helps to reinforce positive habits and behaviors. By acknowledging and rewarding yourself for completing tasks, you're more likely to continue doing them in the future.

So, next time you have a big goal in mind, remember to take it one bite at a time. Set up a plan, break it down into manageable tasks, and celebrate your victories along the way. You'll be surprised at how much you can accomplish when you approach it in a systematic and rewarding way.

Staying Motivated

If no one has prepared you by now, let me be the first. You will NOT feel motivated everyday. Motivation comes and goes like the wind. It’s great when it’s there, but what do you do when it’s lacking? Try to replace the word “motivation” with “routine.” Your habits lead you to success, not your motivation. Here are some of my guidelines for creating new habits:

Creating a sustainable system means finding a routine that works for you, one that you can stick to even on the days when motivation is lacking. To do so, it's important to directly relate your new habits to your "why." Why are you trying to create this new habit? What is your end goal? Keeping your end goal in mind will help motivate you to continue with your routine even when it gets tough.

It’s important to make your new habits fun. If you dread your new routine, you're less likely to stick with it. Find ways to make your habits enjoyable, whether that means incorporating music or doing them with a friend.

Lastly, keep your habits simple. Starting slow allows you to build your routine gradually and avoid becoming overwhelmed. Remember, your habits lead you to success, not your motivation. By creating a sustainable system, you can achieve lasting results and reach your goals.

Setbacks & Slip-Ups

Remember, setbacks and slip-ups are a normal part of the journey. Try not to beat yourself up over them. Instead, learn from them and use them as an opportunity to grow and improve.

You are human. You will fail. What’s most important is that you dust yourself off and continue to move towards your goal.

Consistency DOES NOT = perfection. Be kind to yourself. You are stronger than you think and you ARE capable of doing hard things. This includes failing…

It's important to remember that progress takes time and effort. It's not going to happen overnight, but if you stay focused and committed, you will get there. Be patient with yourself and celebrate the small victories along the way. Surround yourself with positive influences who will support and encourage you on your journey.

Remember, you are capable of achieving your goals. No one else. Believe in yourself and keep pushing forward, brick by brick. You've got this!
